Information
Editorial policy
SamsungFirmware.com publishes independent, factual information about Samsung Galaxy devices and their firmware. This policy explains how records are sourced, verified and labelled.
Status labelling
Every firmware record carries one of three labels. Verified means the record was confirmed from a primary source and entered into our database. Reported means credible regional or community reports exist but have not been independently confirmed. Expected means the release is anticipated from published schedules and no build data has been recorded.
No invented identifiers
We never generate firmware build numbers, model codes or patch levels. Where a value has not been recorded, the interface displays 'Not recorded' or 'Unconfirmed' rather than an approximation.
Corrections
If you believe a record is inaccurate, contact us with the device model, CSC and the value you observed on the handset. Confirmed corrections are applied to the record and its status is re-evaluated.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of any manufacturer, carrier or commercial partner. SamsungFirmware.com is not affiliated with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.
