How to find your Galaxy model number and CSC

Model code and CSC together determine which firmware branch your device is eligible for.

1. 01Open Settings, then About phone, to read the model name (SM- code).
2. 02Dial the service menu or check Software information for the CSC in the build string.
3. 03Note that the CSC in firmware may differ from the CSC printed on the retail box.
4. 04Use both values when searching the ledger.

Then cross-reference your readings against the firmware ledger and your device record. Firmware availability varies by model, country, carrier and region.
