One UI 8

One UI 8 shipped alongside Android 16 on the Galaxy S25 series and later models.

Release date: 01 Oct 2025
Android base: 16
Status: Current
Eligible devices: 0

One UI 8 is based on Android 16. Distribution is staged: flagship Galaxy S and Galaxy Z models are typically served first, with mid-range Galaxy A models following as regional firmware branches receive approval.

A staged rollout means the same marketing model can be on two different versions simultaneously in two different markets. This is normal behaviour and not an indication of a fault.
